WHITE PIGS „Hardcore Years 1983/85″ LP
Connecticut Hardcore Blast! WHITE PIGS existierten von 1980-86, gestartet wurde als lupenreine Hardcore/Punk-Formation, später tobte man sich eher in Richtung Trash/Crossover/Hardcore („Songs of sin” LP, s/t 12″ auf COMBAT) aus. VOMITOPUNKROCK Records bringt nun mit einer Retrospektive die frühen Tage der Band zurück. „Hardcore Years 1983/85″ versammelt das 1983er Demo-Tape, die “Hit Bonanza” 7″ auf MYSTIC/SUPERSEVEN sowie die 1984er 7″. Klingt schwer nach THE DETONATORS (SoCal/Oregon) oder einer Raw-Version von POISON IDEA. Roh, wild und unpoliert.
24 Songs, teilweise im Halb-Minuten-Takt im Schrotgewehr-Modus abgefeuert. „I hate you”, „Victims of Society”, „Kill Kop”, „American Prisoner Of War” etc.
