„Smash the oppressors, end brutality, why intimate us, It’s all ACAB“. Westcoast Hooligan Trouble! Mit den WEST LORDS aus Sacramento, California haben wir uns mal wieder ein ordentliches Schwergewicht ins Labelboot geholt. 2014 gab die Band einen bemerkenswerten Einstand mit ihrer 5-Song Demo-CD, leider blieben TKO Granaten wie „Concrete jungle“, „Nailed to the cross“ oder „Still believe in Oi!“ in good old Europe fast unbemerkt. Schade. Die vier NorCal Troublemaker favorisieren ihren Oi! in einer höchst kompakten Brutalo-Spielweise, versetzt mit einer Prise Old School Hardcore und einer fetten, bösen ’70s Rock-Kante. Schließt vom Sound passgenau an das HAMMER AND THE NAILS-Material (vom Split mit den BUTCHER BOYS, im Dezember 2013 auf SOTS erschienen) an: Ultra-fette, scharfkantige Beton-Riffs (mit der Präzision einer Stichsäge), ganz fiese Grizzly-Vocals und Mörder-Singalongs direkt aus dem LL-Zellenblock. Hart platziert, böse getroffen.
Zwei exklusiv für uns im Sommer 2015 aufgenommene Songs sind auf der 7“ enthalten: „A.C.A.B“ und „Outlaws live forever“. Es geht Cops und Fußball (not Football!), „A.C.A.B“ braucht man wohl nicht näher zu kommentieren, „Outlaws live forever“ ist eine True-Supporter-Hymne, eine Ode an die wilde Leidenschaft auf Stadionrängen.
Die Gesamtauflage ist auf nur 300 7″ im schwarzen Vinyl limitiert, wobei es 100 Stück im roten Cover- und 200 Stück im blauen Coverartwork gibt.

“Smash the oppressors, end brutality, why intimate us, It’s all ACAB”. West Coast Hooligan Trouble! With the WEST LORDS from Sacramento, California, we have another heavyweight on our label. In 2014, the band gave a remarkable debut with their 5-song demo CD, unfortunately in good old Europe almost unnoticed. Too bad. The four NorCal Trouble makers favor their Oi! in a highly compact Brute-playing style, mixed with a dash of Old school Hardcore and a thick, mean ’70s rock edge. Fits perfect to the HAMMER AND THE NAILS stuff (released on Split with the BUTCHER BOYS in December 2013): Ultra-bold, sharp-edged concrete riffs (with the precision of a jigsaw), very angry Grizzly style vocals and Killer Songalongs straight from the cell block.
