Hammer and the Nails / Butcher Boys Split 7″

Band : ,
Titel : s/t
Release Date : 1. Dezember 2013
Label :
Catalog ref. : SOTS 131

Tag Team Rumble in der Ultra Heavyweight-Liga, Bareknuckle Aggo-Shuffle von Eastcoast und Down Under: HAMMER AND THE NAILS aus Boston, U.S.A. CHISWICK style meets CONDEMNED 84. Keine Zeit für falsche Sentimentalitäten (“Only the strong survive”), die Würfel sind bereits gefallen (“Dice are thrown”).

“I don’t believe in nails, I just believe in me”.

4 exklusive Songs, anderweitig nicht veröffentlicht. Achtung: Diese Scheibe verhilft zu Bluthochdruck und schlechter Laune. Garantiert nicht tanzbar oder trendy. Gewalthaltiger Knochenbrecher Rock’n’Roll mit Brechstangen-Charme.

Tag Team Rumble in the ultra heavy weight league, Bareknuckle Aggo shuffle from East Coast and Down Under: HAMMER AND THE NAILS from Boston, USA (known and feared by their kickin’ s/t 12″, hopefully) and the BUTCHER BOYS from Sydney, Australia. Latter consist of Alex and Will of THE CORPS, and in that direction also goes BB. Think CORPS in their “Nail it shut” phase, spiced up with rumblin’ UK skinhead rock’n’roll and you have the BUTCHER BOYS. CHISWICK style meets CONDEMNED 84. No time for false sentimentality (“Only the strong survive”), the ” dice are thrown “.
HATN presents Boston’s darker side, truly negative and nihilstic. Reminiscent musically of a left-right combination (Boxing, mate!)  of 80’s U.S. of Oi! , NEGATIVE APPROACH-Agggression and East Coast Brutality (SHEER TERROR, BLOOD FOR BLOOD). Bad, mean and extremely dangerous. In addition to an own song (“Kept alive”, a midtempo Fighter with anthem quality) they pay with “Justice” a tribute to the UK Oi!sters STRAW DOGS (the song appeared originally in 1993 on the “British Oi! – Working Class Anthems “LP”).

4 exclusive songs, not elsewhere released. Warning: This piece o’vinyl caused high blood pressure and bad temper. Guaranteed not danceable or trendy. Violent Bonecrusher R’n’R with crowbars charm. Get it?
One time pressing of 250 copies: 125 x clear white with black speckles, 125 x clear red with black speckles.
